About Me

Jan was born and raised in Wisconsin. She developed a strong interest in the outdoors as a child--hiking, fishing, sailing, snowmobiling. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, she earned her Master's Degree in speech pathology and audiology from Western Michigan University. She moved to California and worked as the director of speech pathology at Kaiser Hospital in Los Angeles for five years, and ten years in the garment industry in sales, production and management.  She eventually entered the world of corporate jet sales and earned her multi-engine rating. Jan later moved to Santa Fe, where the outdoor and recreational oportunities paralleld childhood in Wisconsin, and earned a real estate brokers license.
